– Oct. 29, 2020, 7:00 pm

For Connecticut and Rhode Island Landowners

Connecticut and Rhode Island woodland owners are invited to a free virtual workshop to learn how funding for a forest management plan may help you realize goals for your land. Partners from New England Forestry Foundation, The Last Green Valley and the Northern Rhode Island Conservation District will discuss current grants through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program in the Southern New England Heritage Forest to help landowners adopt forest management plans and take action to improve bird habitat and prepare for changing forest conditions.

Speakers include: NEFF Outreach Manager Lisa Hayden, Bill Reid, Chief Ranger of The Last Green Valley, who is accepting RCPP applications for Eastern Connecticut landowners, and Kate Sayles, Agriculture & Forestry Program Manager for the Northern Rhode Island Conservation District, who is coordinating applications from Rhode Island landowners. Register to receive Zoom link by emailing lhayden@newenglandforestry.org or calling 978-952-6856, ext. 121.
